Do I need planning permission for my
garden building?
In most cases if a building is under
30sqm then planning permission is not required. Please contact your
own council for further advice.
What access is required?
Clear un-restricted access (height and
width)is required for the sections to be transported to the base.
Do I need a base for my garden
building?
A firm level base is required before
any building can be erected it will need to cover the entire floor
area of the shed. Concrete slabs will be more than adequate laid on
a bed of sharp sand and concrete mix.
How do I place an order?

Do I need to pay a deposit?
A 25% deposit is required on all paper
orders. For online ordering payment is due in full at the time of
purchase.
When is the balance due.
For all buildings delivered and erected
by Rutland then the balance will be due on the day of delivery by
either cash or credit/debit card.
How long will the delivery take?
Delivery is normally 2-3 weeks for
standard garden buildings. Bespoke designs can take up to 4-5 weeks.
A firm delivery date will be given once the order has been placed
and processed.
Will the building be erected at the
same time as delivery?
All buildings within 30 mile radius of
Birmingham are delivered and erected at the same time provided there
is a firm level base. If you live outside the 30 mile radius and
would like us to deliver and/or erect the building a cost can be
given on request.
Can I change the door and window
positions?
On the pent roof garden buildings the
door and window positions can be virtually wherever you want them.
On the apex roof versions the choice is not so varied and we suggest
you contact our sales team to discuss your options.
Is the timber treated?
The treatment we offer is an optional
extra
Cancelled Orders/Refunds
If an order is cancelled within 7 days
of the due delivery date then the deposit will not be refunded.
